In the first presentation of the night, Brett Morgan, Professor at Montclair State University, presented on maximizing an organization’s effectiveness, pointing out three major components; leadership, culture, and strategy. Brett stressed the importance of realizing why you’re doing what you’re doing. One of the topics debated was how your passion determines your performance. Some agreed that passion has everything to do with performance, while others countered and said people can be effective though unpassionate. What do you think?
